Hello!
I'm completely new to voice acting, I've never done any work, or even so much have auditioned for anything, but I do have experience in theater, and was told I would do well in this line of work. Right now I'm just trying to see if it's for me.
However, I have a problem, and that problem being that my voice sounds awful recorded. My voice sounds nasally, and I sound like I have a lisp. I'm not sure if I actually am that bad, or if it's just my cheap mic, or if it's just the general principle that people hate the sound of their own voice due to bone conduction. Here's a clip of me reading an excerpt from Steven King's "All That You Love Will Be Carried Away". Critiques are very welcome:

I don't particularly like the sound of my recorded voice either.
Your voice sounds ok, but IMO sounds a little shaky/hesitant at some points.
