Greetings everyone! Our big project recently on the Discord has been attempting to standardize voice talent rates for indie/small-time/low budget/passion projects. We have the fantastic resource that is the GVAA Rate Guide when it comes to quoting for industry-level projects. However, there has been a big discrepancy when it comes to up-and-coming actors knowing what to charge for small online projects, as many independent creators simply cannot afford industry rates but are looking for talent to help out. Furthermore, we get questions daily on the server about how to handle low-budget online casting calls that ask "send me your rates". This is still a work-in-progress project that is constantly evolving (and if you'd like to get involved, hop in the #indie-rate-guide channel in our Discord server!) Please read the disclaimers in the document to know more about why we are taking this initiative. This is specifically meant for low-budget indie projects and NOT for commercial projects which can and should pay industry standard.
