Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to look. I really appreciate your time and consideration. I voice video games, primarily, but have been known to do radio and internet ads, and the odd animation here and there. I have a vocal range from bass to soprano (mostly character voices on the latter, mind you) and can emulate male voice ages 15 through 115 (and female voices of the elderly, the beastly, and the ridiculous.) My demo reels can be found at hulahulamoocow.com/chars.htmlAgain, many thanks for your time and consideration. My studio is Hula-Cow Studios and we can be reached at (401) 542-HULA Very Best Regards, -Duffy W.

Seems like a lot of reels for one person. I like that you have a lot of different characters. However, I can't help but feel overwhelmed when I look at your page. Have you considered just editing a mix of these down to a single 1 minute demo?
Also, I know that the page is still under construction but wouldn't it be more beneficial for you to complete the page before sending it out to people?

Sorry!): Wanted to say thanks for the advice! You were absolutely right, and (while the final page isn't going to be ready for another day or two) the current state of it IS a bit overwhelming, and I hadn't stopped to take a look at that. It's not perfect, but I've edited it a wee bit so as to not be so large an uncategorized mess in the meantime. In this line of work it NEVER does well to not put your best foot forward. Cheers, and thanks again! I really appreciate it. = ) I may have put the cart before the horse, but I didn't want to have to remember to edit my post here later, and conversely, I was also eager to get it posted.

Hi there! I really agree on the feeling of being overwhelmed by so many sound samples. I did some looking around on your site, and I think you'd be better to link to the "Dry Demo" at the top of your resume page. =) A tiny couple of critiques on that; 1, it sounds like a line repeats at one spot ("there's nothing safe about it, there's nothing safe about it"). It sounds like you did two takes of the line and forgot to edit one of them out; whether that was what happened or not, it's what it *sounded* like to me. 2nd, the old man voice at the end, I just think "get offa my lawn" might be too cliché an old-man joke, but I could be wrong. =)
Aside from that, I like that demo reel, and I definitely think even with no changes, it's absolutely good enough to link people to already!

Thanks very much! I appreciate the feedback. (And I'm glad to know that my dry demo still stands up relatively favorably to scrutiny - it's from 2013, and I was indeed... less than scrupulous about cleaning it.) Thanks again, so much, for your time and advice. = )
