Hi there! Hope you're all having a nice Monday 😊
I'm new to the industry and I don't have a full demo reel yet. I have a few spots cut together with some music behind them (not from an actual gig - just stuff I made with a friend of mine who's a director at a recording studio in town). It's not a proper reel because it doesn't show any range, and they're all just full spots - they haven't been cut down or anything. Once I have a full reel I want to go out to agents with it, but in the meantime I'd love to start getting some gigs on my own...
I've put the tracks up on my website (www.jilliangora.com) and I'd love to hear your thoughts - should I take them down until I have a proper demo reel with range? Or is it ok to keep it up there for now, seeing as I won't be pointing any agents there until I have a full demo?
Thanks! Jill

Hmm, it's definitely better to have some examples of your work than nothing at all. But like you said, it's probably best to have a proper reel before you start submitting to major clients. If you're confident in the samples you have up now, you can always submit for smaller gigs
