Here is my commercial demo reel! youtu.be/1tPmROfPpPg Please let me know what you think of it. I’m new to the Industry and have always wanted to do voice over, but never knew how to start. So here I go! I have been auditioning for jobs on Upwork and other websites but have yet to land anything. I’m assuming it’s because I’m so new.. or it could be that my demo sucks or I just am not cut out for this.. not sure what it is but I know it can take awhile to get going in this industry. For now I’m having fun and learning every day that I can! Please listen to my demo and leave me some feed back!! And thank you to everyone on this forum I have learned so much already!!

Your microphone sound is nice and clear, good tone and no buzzing, no room noise, and this is already further than most people get.
Two minutes and 13 seconds is a minute and 13 seconds too long for a demo. Your demo should wrap up as close to one minute as possible, because most people aren't going to get past the first 20 seconds even if they like it.
Don't do fades between cuts, just crash one cut into another at an artful point.
On the Payless ad the background music is so low, and I hear a `plosive, so it's too clear this is homemade and not a real commercial. A lot of these have the background music way too low. I wouldn't pay an arm and a leg, but it could be worthwhile to find a good demo producer.
You read well and make the effort to put some feel into what you're doing, but it sounds like everything is being read with the same rhythm. "Hey, with a deal like this, how can you not afford to visit?," sounds very stiff and doesn't sound like you're really talking to anyone with enthusiasm for the product. Maybe tack a picture of someone up in front of you and pretend you're talking to them.
The presentation of your demo on YouTube is nice, but your logo is getting cut off at the bottom on my screen. Also, the pic that comes up at 1:17...what's going on there? Looks like you got front row seats to La Cage Aux Folles.
The quality of the recording of your voice is great, now you just need to work on the production and getting a more natural feel into your reads.

Excellent! Thank you so much for the great feedback. I see exactly what your saying and will be making the proper adjustments to make things perfect! I think I will be redoing my demo and putting more feeling into my reads. I definitely will benefit from that. Thanks again!!!
