So what are your VA goals for 2019? I would love to voice some more video game characters, DJ drops, maybe some documentaries too. Also auditioning even more and (hopefully) nailing some new gigs!

I would love to get my voice landed in more paying gigs whether it is in original web animation, original video games and even, original visual novels. I also wouldn't mind to voice in audio plays.

-Getting a more steady audition routine going (it's gotten decidedly harder now that I'm working full time). -Get more roles. I mean, this goes without saying, but I think that after how much better I did this year than I thought I would, next year should yield even greater results. -Commit to the roles I already have and have coming up. I got them, now I have to make sure I follow through!
-Finally attend some workshops and seminars now that I have the means to do so. -This is a bit of a pipe dream right now, but if I have the money and have shown enough improvement, possibly invest in getting a professional demo before the end of the year. I would really like to aim to get my first studio gig (of any size or scope, I just would like to have the experience right now) at some point in the next two years and I feel like that'll be an extremely necessary step in making that happen.

Those are some big goals but you CAN do it! The most important things I try to do are stay organized, have plenty of down time and most of all have fun!!! Sounds like you're well on your way and can't wait to hear about your 2019 success stories!!!!

In my case, I'm just hoping to create another character and commercial demo; get an agent; and hopefully get more paid gigs. Still hoping for an opportunity to do anime, but time will tell.

1. Come back to the site and start auditioning again! Oh hey looks like this is off to a good start!
Late last year I ended up landing a software dev job and had to move from NC to FL (back in my home state!), and the move and settling in really hindered my recording time. Now that the holidays are over I finally got a new recording area set up in my walk in closet and its honestly the best set up I've ever had. So heres hoping to more auditions and roles for 2019!

1. Launch Professional website. 2. Finished demo reel in at least one of the niches that I want to focus on. 5. land at least 5 gigs that actually finish that their production(I've dealt with a lot of people that don't see their projects to the end).
