I Am A(n): Aspiring Voice Actor

Hello all! I'm an aspiring VA who is quite awkward when it comes down to it but a big question I have is how do you consider what's you're 'best voice' when it comes to creating a demo reel?
I ask because all guides say to put your best voices at the start, obviously, but personally I don't see any of the voices I do to be my 'best'. They're all quite average at best. This could just be me being me and being accidentally pessimistic towards myself but I was wondering if anyone could help.
Any and all help is much appreciated and I apologise if this is in the wrong place. First post on here ✌️

Emotional range and personality range are more important to focus on in your Reel than vocal range so concentrate on those instead rather than a variety of voices. It's perfectly fine to use approximately the same vocal type for every read in your Demo when you can play different types of characters really well as well as convey different types of emotions really well. If you still would like to focus on finding your best voices despite that though, try to think on everything you've been cast for, which voices you got cast for the most; chances are your most popular voices you get cast for are your best voices since anytime a role was looking for that type of voice you were able to beat out the competition meaning you must to at least some degree be particularly good at said voice.

If you're listening to different voices over and over and still having this problem, Kyotosomo's idea might work best for you.
A young adult, hopeful in their new career, defending themselves against someone they thought was their friend. A father, lovingly explaining how something works to their young inquisitive child. A soldier, holding their brother-in-arms as they breathe their last breath.
All could be the same natural voice, but with different personalities, different targets, and different emotions, they still show a wide range.
