Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Samson CO1U pro condenser USB mic to do some voiceover work. I've done all I could acoustically to help this tunnel or hollow-like sound and yet it doesn't seem to help! I even have a mini sound booth that I made, on top of surrounding it with clothes and mattress foam (I'm using my closet for all of this). I've tried moving closer to the mic as well. I'm wondering if it's possible that the mic volume is being recorded too high? Or could it simply be a faulty mic? I went from using audacity on my pc to using GarageBand on my iPad which seems to sound better until I exported it back onto my pc only to hear it again. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I may be able to post a sample later this evening! Any help is appreciated!
