Hi everyone! I'm spellbee2, a very amateur male voice actor from Florida. I got interested in VA from watching Egoraptor on YouTube (I'm a huge Game Grumps fan), and finally decided to try it for myself when a friend of mine said he would love to listen to an audiobook with my voice. I did a few podcast episodes for another forum I'm a part of, and managed to get a few roles on CCC, but overall I haven't been super involved in it (mostly from not really finding any casting calls I was interested in).
Currently I use an MXL 990 mic and Adobe Audition for my recordings. I just moved into my own house last year and have been meaning to set up a spare bedroom as a music studio/recording room (though currently, I just record in my closet). I enjoy comedic/parody projects, and would love to be part of an adbridged series/fandub parody. I wouldn't say I'm great at voice acting - I always joke with friends about how my foreign accents usually change nationality mid-sentence. But, I feel like I have a decent vocal range from singing, and I've been working a lot on my improv skills lately, so I hope the rest of the actual vocal skill will develop over time.
Outside of VA, I'm a full-time software engineer, and also do a lot of music- and video-related things for my church. I've been playing piano for about 17 years, playing bass guitar off and on for 10 years, and singing for pretty much all my life. I also enjoy video games (although I don't have as much time to play them as I'd like because of the full-time job).
Feel free to ask me anything, and I'm sure I'll see y'all around!
