The Voice Acting Club strongly encourages the cultivation of paid projects and professional relationships.
We expect all members to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity, and follow through on any promised payment for services in the full amount and in a timely manner.
However, please note that the Voice Acting Club only serves as a means of connecting voice actors and content creators, and we have no control of or involvement in any payment terms, agreements or contracts, which are solely between the actor and creator/producer. We cannot and will not be held responsible for a client's failure to pay, late payment, or breach of agreement. As with any business venture, you accept these projects at your own risk and responsibility. Should a large amount of recording or significant sum of money be involved, both parties may wish to protect themselves by drawing up and signing a contract before work is to begin. Again, the VAC is not responsible for the enforcement of said contracts.
If you are cast in a paid project, and something falls through with payment, we encourage you to directly contact the client and attempt to resolve the dispute. As a general rule, the VAC staff will not get involved in actor/client disputes. However, anyone who knowingly uses our forums to "scam" talent by promising payment and not delivering will lose access to our services and have their account terminated upon investigation.
