Hi everyone, my name is Marian, I'm creating a science fiction comedy adventure game and I still need some voice over artists for some characters. It's a private project, so I can't pay too much, but I don't want anybody to work for free either. It's this character: Lake is a male teenager and rather rude, but not menacing. He has about 40 lines. Find more information on the project here: www.alld-game.comIf anyone is interested, please let me know and also tell me how much you would take roughly for 40 lines. Cheers, Marian Thank you for posting the rules, sorry I read over them too carelessly in the first go. Ok, so here's the missing Information: You can contact us via marian.cerman@web.de There is no real deadline, but for the proper form I'm putting in November 30th 2020 Payment: We offer 1$ per line if it's more than 40 lines and 40$ total if it's less than 40 lines. Depending on your skills we accept negotiations. We preferably pay via paypal. I hope this was all missing information... if not, please let me know. Ah, some lines for the character(s). It's Lake and Johnny Lake (harsh): "Hey funny man! Are you a farmer? Come here!" Johnny (disappointed and disrespectful): "This must be my tenth tomahawk."

Hello lieber Marian!
Ja wie jetzt? Deutsch oder Englisch oder beides? Mit mir, ja! Aber ich bin age range 30-65! Andere Rolle, passender auch? ;-)
Ein paar lines (kein Koks:) schicken und ihr bekommt zwei, drei Stimmvorschläge dazu!
Freu mich! voice.a.club@vp-andfriends.com

Hello, thank you for using the VAC! For all casting calls, we require both an email to submit auditions to and a hard deadline to stop accepting auditions. It can be set short and extended, but you must not make casting decisions before it passed. Additionally, we recommend adding some audition lines for the character. General demo/example submissions are okay, but having audition lines can help easier compare and contrast submissions. Regarding payment, while you are allowed to take quotes and rates from people auditioning, we do recommend setting a specific rate up front! It sets a budget for the project so you don't spend beyond your means and also makes it fair to all VAs who apply to your project. Again, it isn't necessary, but you may want to take it into consideration. However, we do require disclosure of how payment will be given (PayPal, Venmo, other sites, etc.). Please amend your casting call with the proper information. If a deadline, email, and payment info is not added within a few days, the topic will have to be closed and archived. You can read up on our casting call rules here: voiceacting.boards.net/thread/2/audition-rules-before-posting-threadThank you again for using the board!

Hi. I would love to audition for you. You can check some reels and voice samples on my BACKSTAGE VoiceOver profile here: www.backstage.com/vo/andrew-nava/ As far as my rates, for that many lines I'd accept a 50$ one time payment. Please look over my reels and get back to me. Adieu.

Hi everybody! Thank you for the many submissions! We picked two artists and we already received the recordings. Now we need an other voice, it's a roughly 10 years old boy, roughly 20 lines. Can anybody provide a voice for a 10 years old boy? The payment conditions are the same as before.
Cheers!

Please be aware that we generally don't allow casting before the deadline is passed for a few reasons. Please read our topic on why deadlines are important to casting calls:
We can overlook it this time as the actors have already done their work, but please keep this in mind going forward. Additionally, you will need to add a deadline for auditions for this new character. Extra information is optional, but again, you may want to consider adding test lines for reads.
Thank you again for using the board!

Ah, sorry for that. I guess I read over the rules too roughly. Anyway, the new character, the 10 years old boy is named Kaydyn and he is a bit mysterious. He turns up in the woods in the middle of the night. Here are a few of his lines: "I don't know which bright light you mean. Maybe just a figment of your imagination." "I'm not sure what you're talking about, Mr. Jacob." "You should hurry up with your mission now, Mr. Jacob. Good luck!" The deadline is November 20th. In case a moderator reads this: Would it be appropriate or wise to create a new thread for this audition? Cheers, Marian

That said, if you wish to just make a new thread we can lock and archive this one. Let us know and we will take care of it as soon as possible!

Hello there! I see that the deadline of November 30th is today. Will you be extending the deadline, or will auditions close for this project?
Please let us know at your earliest convenience. Otherwise, we may assume that this is closed.
Thanks again for using VAC!
