Project Mokyuu is a fandubbing project for Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, a mobile game spin-off of the critically acclaimed 2011 dark magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
In October of 2020, the English server for Magia Record ceased operations, never releasing all the content available on the Japanese server. In response to this misfortune, Project Mokyuu was launched by a few passionate fans with voice acting experience.
*NOTE: According to Voice Acting Club's rules on fandubs, this project is not technically a "traditional fandub" Instead, Project Mokyuu falls into the allowed category of "adding voice to a text-only game or voicing over a game in a different language that hasn't been voiced yet."

Meet the Tokime Clan, a secretive group living in a remote village in the Japanese countryside. Chiharu discovers she’s part of the clan and is summoned to take part in the mysterious Diviners ceremony. She quickly finds out, though, that things are not as idyllic as they seem. Will she and her new friends be able to escape the tides of fate, or will they drown in the dark secrets of the village?
Lead | The daughter of the head family of the isolated Tokime Clan, Shizuka is the leader of the group. Naive and unfamiliar with technology, she is still determined to lead the Tokimes as they try to protect the people of the Land of the Rising Sun.
[confident] "This is the power we gained by wishing for the divine."
[trying to compose herself] "No... This isn't the time to cry...! If I literally sacrificed my soul to the Land of the Rising Sun… My honor can be maintained...!"
"Wait. I agree that we should give her a piece of our mind, but this time, I think the full picture is a bit more complex."
Lead | A girl from one of the branch families of the Tokime Clan, Sunao is staying with Lady Mikoshiba, the head of the Tokime Clan. She worries a lot, but is considerate and a good listener.
[reassuring] "Don't lose heart, Chiharu. If you shine in just one area, that's enough."
"Even if we are separated, as long as we fight against Devils in the Land of the Rising Sun, we will be able to meet again."
"[sad] I never wanted to do any of this. I'd simply been forced to…"
Role type: Lead | Also from a branch family, Chiharu has just learned of her membership to the Tokime Clan. A little airheaded but curious and enthusiastic, she dreams of becoming a hero. She loves detective dramas.
"[serious/nervous] If this were a Kouichi Todoroki story... this village is exactly where an incident would occur...!"
"[talking to herself; imitating her favorite detective] Your sense of smell is sharp, Miss Hiroe. I myself was just thinking that something must be hiding in this village. I'm glad to have such an excellent assistant."
"Bring it on! I am gonna drag ALL of you down to the station!"
NOTE: This project DOES NOT require ADR/synching lip-flaps)
The named characters in this casting call will reappear in the main story of Magia Record. So, if you are casted for any of these roles, please be aware that voicing a character is a long-term commitment. You will be expected to be on-call for any content in which your character appears. In short, before joining Project Mokyuu, be sure that you have the commitment and responsibility for the role.
*Please note that due to the large number of voice actors needed for casting the Main Story of Magia Record, this casting call also includes characters who do not appear in "Green Jasper Diviners" but will be needed soon. These characters include: Mifuyu Azusa, Momoko Togame, Rena Minami, and Kaede Akino.
If you are selected and accept the role as a named character, you are obligating yourself to a long-term commitment to be this character's voice actor. Project Mokyuu tries to respect your time and is willing to accommodate VAs when/if life circumstances arise.
Unfortunately due to the nature of this project, these roles are all unpaid. Additionally, no revenue will be generated by this project. Ultimately, this project is "for fun" and to help make Magia Record Arc 2 more accessible to the English-speaking audience.
