Hi everyone!
The game so far (up to chapter 4) is currently available on steam. You can also play the free demo there! I'm aiming to have chapter 5 released by September, so we would move on to recording within the week.
Content Warning: All of the following roles, with the exception of Isifikh, pertain to in-universe POC-coded characters. While they're not restricted to any specific group comparable to RL population, all of these roles will discuss the fantasy racism present in their setting to some degree. Please, keep in mind whether you will be comfortable with this when applying.
Most of the following characters will also be shown consuming alcohol.

Description: "Itor the Rebuke is the leader of an infamous band of Sable riders, raiders of the steppes. Naturally introspective and on the quiet side, Itor's sword and tongue were sharpened by a life of miseries. Itor desperately seeks something to believe in, a way to consecrate all the blood he's shed to a higher cause.
It's generally his way, or the highway."

1. (Solemnly) "I do not seek forgiveness, nor am I looking to change my ways. All I ask is that you allow me to unsheathe my sword for you from now on."
2. (disgusted, can't believe what he's hearing Mu say) "Merchants! *spit* You would dare pull your siblings into your racket?!"
3. (Furious, insisting on his point) "Their hearts will be open to us or they will be opened by us!"

Voice type: bold, demanding, low-key and somewhat booming (think a construction worker who's very used to screaming for their job)

Description: "Wasdrep is a jaded man who has spent his whole life working physically demanding jobs. All he wants is a better life for him and his family."

1.(Can't believe what he's hearing) "You get leftovers?! I'm lucky if I can scrape together one meal after working all day in the salt marsh!"
2.(Thinking someone is being naive) "What are you saying?! You really think their opinion of you is going to change just because you brought some coin?"
Maswen (MAHS-when)
Age: 30-50
Pronouns: she/her
Voice type: tranquil, cheerful. Could be a bit gravelly, someone who doesn't tend to raise their voice
Accent: American English preferred
Volume of lines: ~10-20 lines
Description: "Maswen has led a tranquil life thus far, but she is well aware that she's gotten the short straw in Acazhor all the same."
Audition Lines:
1.(encouraging) "Tell her that she's doing great. And you too! I'm amazed you can translate all of that! Who taught you?"
2.(bitterly) "I mean… Where are we supposed to drink ourselves to death if half the barkeeps glare us away?"
Mi name is Maxi Molina or SandraMJ, and I'm the creator and solo dev behind The Hayseed Knight.
The Hayseed Knight is a fully voice-acted, episodic indie visual novel where a ragtag bunch of misfits take turns telling the tale of Ader, a one-eyed farmboy with dreams as big as his hands and pockets as empty as his head, as he stumbles his way into knighthood.

High King Isifikh (ee-see-FEEK)

Pronouns: he/him
Voice type: ancient and wise, extremely serious, with a lot of gravitas and superiority to his voice. I'd also like to see another more comedic cranky old man take to his voice, in the same audition.
Accent: Any accent is welcome
Volume of lines: ~20-30 lines
Visual Reference: due to the spoiler-y nature of the character, the actual character image will not be revealed at this time. Picture the voice coming out of Dagoth Ur from Morrowind for now.

1.(Picking a fight) "Oh look, there's the houseservice again thinking they're talking for everyone! Some of us have real jobs!"
2.(In the middle of a speech, having a realization) "...The oppressing ruling class only exists to pit us against each other..."
