Hello fellow voice actors and voice acting enthusiasts!
My name is Rainzacket, but you can call me Zack. I've been doing voice acting work for a few years, primarily bit roles in projects such as the web animation "Harmony Revolt" and audio series "Zoolaplex." While I haven't done anything super-significant, the way I see it; we all start somewhere and in good time we find out our own way. We just have to be patient.
The reason I got into voice acting is kind of an interesting one. Like many people who got into voice acting, I absolutely loved watching cartoons growing up and was fascinated with the idea of voice actors. However, it really wasn't until fifth grade when I joined a speech team that performed a different piece every year. I went to join a similar team in my high school years, and it was through my love of performing when I decided how much I loved acting. So being part of these teams helped me realize my passion was performing, and voice acting seemed to be the most appealing kinds of performances for me. And since I began college, I have been trying to study voice acting and voice over almost every day I can.
Even though I have been putting my best foot forward in voice acting, I am really considering pushing myself further this coming year. My personal goals include meeting new people, maybe get a personal project done, and to hopefully aim at forming a collab group towards the year's end; while at the same time taking care of my new dog. My hopes are to make 2017 a good year for voice acting.
Aside from voice acting my hobbies and interests include reading, biking, writing/story editing, gaming, and comic books (and TV shows based on comic books). Sometimes I will spend hours looking and researching any of these things because I am a dork and nerd, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am looking forward to meeting and connecting with all of you, and to make the new VAC a great community! I'm really excited for this, and I hope the rest of you are too!
Also, what are your 2017 voice acting goals, and how did you get into voice acting?
