I've recorded myself while playing online games with friends, so I have a few sessions to listen to and hopefully that will help a bit. Audacity should be a good program to use right?

Pick a project and audition for it. Also look up some exercises to practice voice acting. Anyone else got any suggestions?

Come up with some personal projects of your own. And it don't have to be long projects. Doing line reads, short comic dubs, whatever you can think of that can help provide practice and experience. All it takes is practice, practice, practice.
