I see. So... if I do a fan-made continuation of "Samurai Pizza Cats" with my late friend's fan-fic series as the basis, would that be cool? And just to prove that my friend's work is worth animating... guidocx17.tripod.comYes, something like that sounds fine. The rule would only apply if you were dubbing over original footage from the show. Okay So I would assume that this also means that fangames of a game would also be allowed(different storyline), is that correct? Also who would I contact to find out if my project is appropriate for this site or not (I know some sites have strict regulations on what type of work is allowed and mine falls into sort of a grey area.)?

Yes, fan games are allowed. By appropriate, I'm assuming yours is an adult game? Those are allowed but they must be clearly marked and the reference images not too explicit---see the "audition rules" thread for guides on posting 18+ works.

It's not exactly "adult" in that it has explicit scenes but it does cover a lot of dark themes that some people would not be comfortable with.

You can always give a heads-up on the content when posting your audition so that peoole can decide if it's something they're comfortable auditioning for.

I understand what you mean. I'm glad that there exists a place for more paid/original work that I can put on my resume. Although I do fondub work, it's more on an ask-basis and as a practice method to build up my chops and keep myself motivated if I'm not booking. I definitely understand why they're not allowed on here and it's certainly cool. Thanks a bunch!
