Yes, it means free, but if you're new here I recommend reading the rules and reading what the sections of the forum are actually for. This is only for casting calls, not for questions - for questions regarding the forums, try Forum Help. EDIT: I have moved it to the correct section; it was initially in "Visual Unpaid".

Unpaid = projects that offer no form of monetary compensation to the voice actors. This includes "copy and credit", "exposure/experience", and anything else that's not actual money. Projects that initially require free work with the possibility of compensation if the project does well may also be listed in this section.
Paid = projects that offer guaranteed, monetary compensation to the voice actors (for instance, "this project will pay $50 per role" or "$1 per line", something like that.)
