Hello my name is Collin Peacock, I am an SAG eligible actor based in Utah! I have 3 years of film acting experience, and a few years of theater (though I haven't done theater since getting into film) Unfortunately I do not have a VO reel yet. That is actually why I am here, to get some unpaid work (or possibly paid if I play my cards right) to start working on a VO reel. Collin Peacock's Acting Reel
If you have any advice, I would love to hear from you If you were able to go back in time, and speak with yourself at the beginning of your VO career, what advice would you give yourself? How do you personally structure a VO audition? Other than this website, where are some other great places to find VO work? Any advice you can give will help a ton, even if it how to make a bomb Sandwich.

Welcome to the boards. I love your last name!!
If I could go back in time to the beginning of my VO career, that'd pretty much be within the last seven months, so... nothing really. If I could go back to when I first thought of being a voice actor, I'd tell myself not to wait and start getting involved in the community (especially since I knew some people back then that'd later go on to be pretty prolific online for their VA efforts). No time for regrets, though. I'm taking the advice now instead of letting my age and experience dictate what I should and shouldn't do.
In terms of auditions, I don't really "structure" it? I include the best read I can in a finished file. If it's allowed, I'll send multiple takes. I try to read an entire audition script in one take to remain consistent, but I might stop and segment takes if I read one line REALLY well and try to match that. I USED to slate my files audibly, but most projects (at least here) require your name and character's name in the file (which is how I would slate them anyway) so I've come to feel it's a bit redundant. That being said, it's something to keep in mind, you never know when throwing it in will be appreciated.
