Hello, I'm new to this club. Where and how do I audition? I've been in radio for years and I've done voice work but just found you guys. So what's the next step? Hook me up! Thanks!

Hi and welcome to this awesome community.Oki dokes so the best thing to do would be to register then you hear about new jobs as they become available and can reply to threads and posts. This isn't a must since you can take a look around as is but it maximises your chances.Right now you can click on paid or unpaid projects and then click on a thread you are interested in.All threads contain all the info you need like a charactor profile, deadline,if paid the salary and an email address to send your audition to.Best of luck and again welcome.

You've posted this in the wrong section - I'll move this for you!
So for VAing here, you need a solid home recording setup (which I wouldn't be surprised if you have one already, being a radio person). You'll need to look into all the separate threads posted here and record the given audition lines in the format requested, and send them into the email provided before the deadline passes. If you see a thread without an email address to send to, make sure to ask them to provide it because that's part of the rules here. Try not to bother any threads which seem inactive for more than a few weeks, or if their deadlines have passed. This sounds obvious but some people still do it sometimes.
From there, if you're cast, most of the time you will be given the script which you again record in your home setup in the format requested by the producer. This can vary due to personal preference. Most want lines separate with different takes all in the same file, but some want things to be even more split up by separate takes in separate files and others are fine with you just sending a big single file of all your lines.

Lumisau pretty much covered it! You can also feel free to check out some of the general tutorial threads and chat with other members, lurk around a bit if you need to and get a feel for things.
If you have a demo reel, I'd also highly suggest posting it in the Demo Reels section as sometimes people come to look for talent directly without holding auditions, so it helps to have a sample up of what you can do!
