The first thing I noticed when I started the video (even before your voice came in) was a loud, constant hiss. Maybe you've got the gain cranked too high or you just have a constant fan or something running. Try to isolate and remove those noises before recording, then if there's still that problem, you can run a noise gate or a noise reduction filter.
You've got a pretty substantial amount of echo in the room where you're recording. Try tossing a blanket over yourself and the mic and record a couple lines and note the difference. Some acoustic treatments in your room will do wonders!
The sultry voice has a good effect! Don't neglect your trailing Ts, though, such as on "wet" and "last".
The monotone voices you used for the "old woman", "paradox" and "escalator" sections were good in-script, but they don't really show off your emotional range. Anyone can monotone, so show us what you can do with anger or sadness! Acting should be your first priority in the demo reel as it's harder to train than doing interesting voices, if that makes sense.
Thanks for sharing, and I hope this helps!

It miiiiiiiight be a gain problem. Noise reduction was definitely used. I created this before I knew how to normalize my decibels. The strange thing is that I cannot find the hiss you mention. I've listened to this on my LG Aristo, my HP laptop, and my 4k Smart TV and I still can't hear a hiss. But, if there is a hiss, it is probably a gain issue, for sure. Unless my XM8500 mic or XENYX502 mixer has something to do with it? I absolutely agree with the echo. I think I need to put more foam up behind the mic. I will definitely try the blanket thing! That sounds like fun, actually. lol Finish my syllables/annunciate more on the T's, and more emotion than style. Noted, and will do. Thanks a ton for the helpful feedback Xathien, I truly appreciate it!
