Wasn't sure what to do for a demo considering most of what I have is a collection of auditions. So I had--what's hopefully a bright Idea -- and did a mashup in the style of those early 2000 Toonami segments. Is this alright for a demo or is it too busy? SoundCloud

Who could predict I would turn up with a comment?
Multiple cuts with a single piece of music playing behind them is confusing me. This sounds like someone on the sidewalk people would be making big circles to avoid. I'm seeing a shopping cart...
At 28 seconds in, I would say, you need to take your auditions, if it's been several months and the projects have aired, and build your own production around them and make those into a demo. That's what I did on my Animation and Gaming demo. Agencies will say "auditions cannot be shared," but I think they mean when the voice hasn't been chosen and the project is still in the works. If it's an audition you did for a commercial a year ago that's long since aired, I don't see an issue. I would just leave out the product name.
Also, the "son of a b*tch* part -- I would keep it clean. You don't want your demo going to a Christian radio station or Disney and making them blush. Rated G for general audiences.

You mentioned that I should make a production out of my auditions but that's exactly what this is, a mashup of auditions from last month. Sooo basically the cuts are too fast and a potty mouths not cool kids?

By "production," I mean add sound effects and music for each cut. Make them sound like finished pieces within themselves, not a bunch of tracks with one song playing all the way through behind them. Go to the link in my signature and listen to my animation demo and hear what I did with my auditions. Those were just voice tracks and I made them sound like they came from aired cartoons with the sound effects and music I added.
