Some of you have probably noticed the general slowing down of activity here at the forums. So what's the deal? Well, if you haven't heard... Ever since our Discord server was created, it's been a very lively place, with 1,000+ members and discussion going on at all hours of the day. Much of the discussion that was once on the boards, now tends to take place on the server, as many people these days prefer Discord as an easier method to communicate in real-time. And because of the Discord app on mobile, it's quite easy to stay connected with the rest of the community even when you're away.
So what does this mean for the forums? Don't worry, the forums aren't going anywhere! They're still a great central place to hold casting calls, post demo reels, and host tutorials (these things tend to get lost on Discord with how fast the chat scrolls). It just means that if you have a question about voice acting stuff and want quick answers in real time, the server tends to be the place!

Definitely would recommend joining the Discord. It's a very lively, fun and welcoming place to meet new friends and develop your craft as a voice actor.
