So, I’m aware using made up names when your not a proffesional, but how far should that go? Currently, a few people know my name, but I try to use a made up name wherever possible. Should I worry about the people who know my name, projects that list it, etc.? Is that going to be a huge thing later on?
EDIT: Shoot, this is the wrong category. My apologies.

Depends what type of work you're doing and how comfortable you feel using it. If you want to go with a stage name, there's nothing wrong with that. I've got a normal-sounding pseudonym that combines my first name with the nickname. That way, I can still keep my personal info outside of most projects unless there's an NDA, and it's what I also use for my resume, for instance.
The thing is, whatever you do go with eventually should be the one you stick with if you're planning on doing this seriously unless you get around to feeling comfortable using your full name online. Then you can just go with that.

Oh yeah. If you're younger (under 18), then definitely use a nickname or just even your YT username or whatever. You can even be NonsensicalThings and run with that.

So, I was actually wondering, how "far" should I go with that? I try to use NonsensicalThings wherever applicable but I know there's some people who know my name. Should that be something to worry about?

Until you feel comfortable changing it! And nah, I don't see how it'd be a problem with some people knowing your name. Just ask to be credited with your nickname if it's what you want for now.

It's good to use a pseudonym for fan projects or anything you might not want strictly associated with you if/when you get older and move onto a professional career. I would use your real name for "real" projects you can use on your resume (for example, an indie game that gets released on consoles, or an original animation submitted to film festivals), but keep your screenname for comic dubs and other hobbyist type of stuff. It's not the end of the world if some of these credit you with your real name, but it's just something that you might decide in the future you'd like to keep separate!
