Intro
Hello everyone! To avoid cluttering the forums and at the suggestion of the admins, I’m creating this megathread that includes all of the individual element spotlight videos (tutorials) of the RCSB Character Voice Building Framework and I will be posting any new videos here.
What's RCSB?
The RCSB (Rounded Character Speech Blueprint), is a framework I developed made up of 18 elements divided into 6 categories meant to help you create and develop unique, well-rounded, three-dimensional character voices. It's especially helpful for those of you who need to voice multiple characters in one same project and need to have distinct-sounding voices.
The reason I created it was because I couldn’t find any good framework for character voice acting like you would with a framework for other things like writing (Dan Harmon’s Story Circle, for example). So after loads of character and actor analysis, I came up with these 18 core elements that, when at least considered, can render a good, compelling character voice.
There may be more frameworks out there, but the RCSB has been incredibly helpful for me and I believe and hope a lot of you out there will find it helpful as well.

Additional Resources
I created a fillable PDF document of the RCSB for you to fill out with your own characters. This helps me keep the sound of a character voice consistent and also reading and writing things out for each of the elements forces you to at least consider each of them, sometimes adding a new layer of complexity to your character voice. This also helps a ton when analyzing someone else's voice/character voice.
Fillable RCSB Grid
Final Words
Voice acting is a wonderful thing that at least to me has brought me countless hours of joy and creative fulfillment. I really hope the RCSB can aid you in making character voice building a bit easier and maximizing that joy and fulfillment. Best wishes to you all!
