Hi, this is my first post here so sorry if I get something wrong. To get right down to the problem, in 2020 I started working on the scripts for this five season series. The season lengths vary from twenty one episodes to about thirteen episodes. I'm unsure on the episode lengths but generally they vary between six to around twenty pages. The number of characters that appear in each episode vary from six to at one point forty characters. I'm just starting the rough drafts for season four and I've finally decided to go ahead and start getting a team together so I can start putting out episodes. I just need some advice on the project:
I want to do monthly payments but I don't know what the proper amount of money to pay people per month is. I want everyone to have an equal amount of money and eventually I want to get to the point where we're putting out two to three episodes at a time. Unless it's one of the longer ones then we can just focus on that one episode. And, seeing as I plan on asking viewers to help fund the project, I don't want to ask too much of them either. I've searched the internet and asked other people for advice but I haven't gotten anything concrete. Episode one will have twelve characters, not counting three nameless background characters that I was thinking of just giving to the voice actors for the actually named characters. Oh and if it helps I plan on having ten people work on episode one (the animation will be in an animatic style and the artists are free to choose whatever art style they want for their section of the episode) I plan on getting some equipment to do the editing so I'll have that covered. I was thinking about 400 dollars a month for everyone, is that a good offer?
Sorry if any of this sounds confusing or like a bad idea, I've never done anything like this before and whenever I search for advice it's for the artist and not the person making the scripts. I'm not a very good artist and while I'm willing to do some background characters, my voice acting is subpar at the moment. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll answer the best I can. Thanks in advance.
