As per usual, Kira sums up things in a beautiful and succinct fashion! Only two cents that I'd add to this is this; Pay attention to the accounts of those around you, especially of those you admire in the the industry. Take note of how they present themselves, and try to emulate that kind of presentation. This can be anything from Kira has said above, to the actual 'construction' of your social media accounts. Notice how people create their bios, pay attention to how often they share their work/website/demo-reel, and that sort of thing. Remember, you are your business so you need to be able to act as such. Don't act like a whiny child or an argumentative clown. Otherwise I'll end up using you as a case study in an upcoming lecture entitled "How Not To Social Media 101".

Hey there everyone, I'm Jimmy, a 21 year old voice actor from Britain (Wales to be specific!).
I've been wanting to get into voice acting for years, and now I have the economic and technical means to do so. I very much intend to be incredibly active on this site, and would love to get to know as many of you as possible!
I'm currently part of a small community of voice actors, where we use Discord to hang out and help each other in achieving our voice acting dreams.
If you'd like to be apart of this group, feel free to send a message my way and I'll send a link your way!
I look forward to meeting you all!

Howdy folks, I'm a freelance video editor looking to get back into doing editing work. I've just finished my three year Film and Television degree, and now looking for more work to add to my portfolio and to test my abilities.
While I'd obviously prefer paid work, I'm more than happy to volunteer my abilities for interesting projects!
Feel free to email me JimmySherwood at hotmail.com.
